Single-variety apple juice as direct juice. The beautiful one from Boskoop, or simply called Boskoop, is an old variety of cultivated apple. It was discovered as a chance seedling by a Mr. Ottolander as a shoot from a wild apple in Boskoop, the Netherlands. For lovers of acidic apples, it is an excellent dessert fruit and an excellent baked apple. Fruit processing has a long tradition at the van Nahmen cider and private winery in Hamminkeln in the Rhineland. Nothing is removed from the juices and nothing is added: no preservatives, no flavorings. Particular attention is paid to the use of old fruit varieties and thus also to the preservation of traditional cultivated varieties that are threatened with extinction.
