Die nur rund 120 ha umfassend Appellation Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse ist ein wenig bekanntes Juwel im Norden Burgunds, wenige Kilometer südlich von Auxerre, am linken Ufer der Yonne. Historisch gesehen war sie lange Zeit überaus renommiert und ihre Weine fanden sich auf den Tischen mehrerer französischer Könige.
