Harmonious, delicate and "sweet" in its aromas, the taste is lovely with a hint of almonds, but the finish is slightly fruity and spicy with the essence of vegetables. Ripe, black Leccino and Pendolino olives are harvested by hand for the golden-colored Dolce Delicato oil. The olive farm is located near Florence in Reggello. In addition to using its own olives, the oil farm also buys high-quality olives from neighboring olive farmers. Piero Gonnelli pays attention to the top quality of the hand- or machine-harvested olives, the short distances from the harvest to the oil mill and careful processing in the olive mill.
