De Sousa ist ein 10 Hektar kleiner Familienbetrieb in Avize im Herzen der Côte des Blancs.

Das Weingut wird aktuell in 2. Generation von Erick Sousa geführt.

Seit 1995 wird biologisch und seit 2002 biodynamisch gearbeitet. Der Boden wird teilweise auch mit Pferden gepflügt. Sulfite im Champagner werden möglichst minimal gehalten und die erste Fermentation erfolgt mit natürlichen Hefen.
