Nebbiolo grapes are the basis of Bramaterra. In accordance with the DOC specifications, it consists of 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Vespolina/Croatina. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in several passes; the different varieties and locations are brought in and matured separately. The grapes spend the first phase of winemaking (fermentation and maceration) in open Grenier oak vats. The young wine is then stored in barriques that have been used several times and then in large Stockinger oak barrels before it is bottled after two years. There it matures for another one to two years before it can be put on the shelf.
A wine of great elegance and unbridled power. In the glass it presents itself in a lively ruby red. On the nose you can smell the aromas of wild berries (blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry) but also floral notes of violet. Added to this is the minerality from the porphyry soils, a clear note of white pepper. We are sure that this wine will cause a sensation.
