Sciaranuova lies at an average altitude of 730 meters above the
Sea level between the districts of Montelaguardia and Passopisciaro. The property covers an area of 14.40 hectares, including 4.9 hectares of vineyards. It is characterized by terraces with dry-built walls and more than 7 hectares of chestnut groves.
The morphology slopes from southeast to northeast, with an average gradient of 8.5%. The area where the vineyards of Contrada Sciaranuova are located is characterized by the volcanic formations of Mount Etna, which are between 4,000 and 40,000 years old.
