Acquerello Carnaroli rice is grown in Piedmont, watered with clear meltwater from Mont Blanc and has an exceptionally long storage period of 1-3 years. This means that the starch, vitamins and proteins are retained. The rice grains increase in volume and weight when cooked. This increases the ability to absorb spices and considerably reduces stickiness - it remains firm to the bite. An ideal top-class risotto rice!
