A gin with a very clear line. Only juniper goes into the bottle (and of course pure alcohol mixed with water). No long list of botanicals, no sugar and no frills. The Rhein Gin sticks to what is tried and tested and does well. Speaking of good: the juniper used here must be of excellent quality. The nose is not only resinous and needle-like, but is bursting with liquorice, vanilla, fennel and also slightly fruity notes.
