From November to March, from the regions of southern Catalonia, Teruel, and Cuenca. When ripe, these deep black truffles have a surface covered with medium-sized warts and fine white veins in the flesh. The black winter truffle is used primarily in fine French cuisine.

Keep refrigerated at a maximum of +7°C.

Price fluctuates daily. If the supplier has raised prices, we may unfortunately have to add an additional 10 to 20 cents per gram.

In our experience, prices are significantly more expensive at the beginning of the season and around Christmas. November usually offers good value for money.

It depends on numerous factors. Harvesting isn't possible if it rains, for example.
