Region
Mosel Saar RuwerThe GG from Abtsberg particularly clearly demonstrates the typical character of the site. The nose is reminiscent of ripe fruits such as apricot, peach, and yellow apple. Nuances of wet stone, wild herbs, and white blossoms hint at the complex wine in the glass. The aromas of green tea and woodruff give it its unmistakable character. On the palate, it is slender and extremely precise. It displays beautifully ripe fruit that is in perfect harmony with its salty minerality and delicate acidity.
The finish reveals orange zest and Williams pear, paired with lemon balm and a wonderfully ripe salted lemon. It leaves a creamy yet juicy mouthfeel. A very lean, elegant, yet richly extractive wine with a fine grip and depth.
